THE SANCTUARY ARTISTS
United by their passion for nature, this group of individuals represent various disciplines including painting, printmaking, photography, ceramics, poetry, storytelling and scientific analysis. The group was founded by Clayton Bass and Margaret Anne Goldsmith in February 2009, with a primary focus to explore the Goldsmith Schiffman Wildlife Sanctuary, a 300 plus acre wilderness park in Huntsville Alabama. The Art of Nature traveling exhibition, the group's first project, runs from June 2 through July 25, 2010 at the Salmon Library Gallery at UAHuntsville.
